The low-top sports mismatched uppers covered in unique materials. colors. and Deng's watercolor graphics. the individual details representing six regional dishes from six Chinese cities. They're joined by additional cuisine-inspired flourishes. including a wood-grain Swoosh that nods to chopsticks. a blue-tinged sockliner representing porcelain bowls. and a coppery toe box standing in for boiling chili oil. On each heel tab. 'food' is spelled out in embroidered Chinese calligraphy.
